Monarchs v Switchbacks, Tucsonense v Tucsonense

The USL’s Colorado Springs Switchbacks took on the Real Monarchs yesterday. On the field were former FC Tucson players Saeed Robinson, Kareem Smith and Ricardo Velazco. Also making an appearance was Tucsonan Justen Glad, as well as Garrett Lossee, who took the field for both FC Tucson and Real Salt Lake for the Desert Diamond Cup this year.

Smith left the field late in the match with an injury, and the Switchbacks played with ten men since there were no subs available. The Monarchs’ Velazco had a goal called back. Robinson finished with two shots for Colorado Springs, while Lossee tallied one for SLC.
