A couple of weeks ago, I gave Kevin King a little grief for making an appearance on the PDL’s Foul Leaders list. In the two games he’s played since then, Kevin has had a target on his head. Both Phoenix and Pali hacked the guy mercilessly.
I hope that wasn’t because of my post.
As of this week, Kevin wouldn’t even make the top sixty. This could be because of his one league match he was suspended for, but hey, it’s a good list to slip off of.
But on top of another list by a quite a big margin is Tucson’s Donny Toia. Here is the PDL’s Shot Leader’s list:
| Rank | Shots | GP | Player Name | Team |
| 1 | 41 | 4 | Donny Toia | FC Tucson |
| 2 | 21 | 5 | Jake Keegan | Westchester Flames |
| 3 | 20 | 3 | Ahmed (AJ) Sheta | Northern Virginia Royals |
| 20 | 4 | Mark Sherrod | Portland Timbers U-23s | |
| 5 | 18 | 4 | Alencar Ventura Junior | Worcester Hydra |
| 6 | 17 | 2 | Dion Peters | West Virginia Chaos |
| 17 | 3 | Ryan Finley | Reading United AC | |
| 17 | 6 | Aboubacarim Ndaw | Real Maryland Monarchs FC | |
| 9 | 16 | 3 | Kekuta Manneh | Austin Aztex |
| 16 | 4 | Iyassu G. Bekele | Nashville Metros |
I’ve heard from team staff that the midfield will gel as we get into summer, and this will bring more players into the attack. That plus Toia finishing his chances will make for a very dangerous team.
