I checked in with FC Tucson hetman Rick Schantz on the eve of their match against the Pali Blues, and I asked him about what’s going on with Field 5.
“I’ve been out there just about every day,” he told me. “It looks great.”
A concern for Schantz, and his players no doubt, are the seams. Schantz says the seams are close together. It’s good news for those of us that would rather not see Nick Marshall trip on his way to the goal.
