Rumors are afoot that Monsoon coach Daniel Ochoa will be leaving. I put in a call to Monsoon PIO Alex Gago and he couldn’t confirm the story.
Ochoa, a former player for Cruz Azul, came on board with the change in ownership and a new league affiliation. This weekend featured a 9 – 1 thrashing of the team at the hands of San Diego Boca FC. The loss puts the Phoenicians at no points so far for the season and a -11 goal differential.
