- Michał Zachodny has started regular blogging again and has two articles so far previewing the season: 5 biggest changes in Polish football this summer and 2 Ekstraklasa newcomers with problems. He’s trying a number theme on his preview titles.
- One of those “newcomers with problems” is TS Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała. Not only will that team be the first one on Jagiellonia Białystok’s dance card this coming season (they play on August first), it is the place where Krzystof Król landed after being released by Jaga a few weeks ago.
- Speaking of Jaga, because I often do, they have finally done the inevitable and sacked Michał Probierz. His replacemant is Czesław Michniewicz, who played ‘keeper for several lower division teams and has coached in the Ekstraklasa. Last season, he helmed Widzew Łódź and managed the Czerwona Armia for 11 wins and 24 points on the season. They ended the season in ninth place.
