Jagiellonia Białystok has a new Twitter feed. I suppose this is a replacement for the one that hasn’t been posted on since last summer.
Unlike the old one, this is in English. So we can find out such breaking stories such as this one, revealed in one of their early tweets:
Jagiellonia announce the departure of head coach Michal Probierz. Effective immediately.
That’s big news. Except…here’s a tweet from yesterday:
We had been misinformed by club officials. As of now, Sandomierski and Probierz are still members of our club. Sorry for that.
That tweet, by the way, came as a response to blogger Michał Zachodny, who wondered why such information would be released by an entity ostensibly connected to the club.
Oh, that also means, despite Polish media reports connecting him to a move to Everton, that Grzegorz Sandomierski is still a part of the team. We know this because these tweets turn out to be so accurate.
One person that won’t be part of the team though:
