I watched this weekend as both the Revs and the US had early leads utterly blown in short order. In the case of the US, the knocks about needing to have a better man up top seem silly when you score two goals in the first half. The same could be said to a lesser extent about the Revs.
It’s all at the back, kids. Mexico has trouble with their back line too. Of course, this problem becomes a tad less noticeable when the other team lets you score four freakin’ times!
I won’t get too much into the US game, since Tyler has promised a rant/essay on the subject here. But one word to the Revs back line: it is really about the shoes, guys.
